Now, the Presentation Centre of SM Korea in Paju also offers test cleaning runs on MAFAC machines.

A short time ago, two MAFAC machines of the types ELBA and JAVA were installed in the Presentation Centre in Paju, South Korea, ready to do test cleaning runs. With these machines, the engineering company from Alpirsbach (Germany) expands its international competence in the field of consultation regarding aqueous parts cleaning for the Asian market.

"Our customers used to have to send their parts to Germany for cleaning. This cost them a lot of time and money", says Kwanho Park, Deputy General Manager Technical Sales at SM Korea, a distributor of MAFAC machines. This situation is a thing of the past. Now, test cleaning runs on an aqueous basis can be carried out in the Presentation Centre. The results are provided fast and uncorrupted by any prior transportation of the products. For this purpose, the Presentation Centre uses a MAFAC JAVA and an ELBA. "This basis in Korea is an important milestone for us. From this starting point, we will be able to increase our activities in the key markets China and South Korea", Managing Director Rainer Schwarz explains the strategy for the Asian market. Specifically in the field of the automotive industry, the management sees a large potential for MAFAC machines in Asia. It is true that the demands in the parts to be cleaned are currently not as high as on the German market, but a trend for requiring better cleaning results is becoming more and more visible. This is where the MAFAC machines with their superior technology can score. For this reason, the pro-active measures taken to convince potential customers right on site at Paju of the top performance of MAFAC machines were a very important step. The company did not have to wait long for the Presentation Centre to succeed: Immediately after the Centre was opened, the Korean agency sold a MAFAC ELBA. The customer is from the automotive industry, and very happy with their investment. "This proves that we are on the right way", says Managing Director Rainer Schwarz.
