CALDAN, the Danish supplier of overhead & floor conveyor system, celebrates the anniversary of CALDAN Germany and CALDAN France in 2020.
In 2020 CALDAN celebrates the anniversary of CALDAN Germany and CALDAN France. The two anniversaries will be celebrated during PaintExpo 2020 at the company's booth (booth 1530, Hall 1).
CALDAN Germany 20th anniversary
CALDAN Germany was established in Bad Hersfeld, in the middle of Germany, in 2000, and will therefore be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
The company was created with the intent of getting a strategic, local base in the German market, considered as the most important export market for CALDAN.
Even if the sales office started out with two former colleagues from a German engineering company - Frank Berg, Managing Director, and Marco Guth, Sales Engineer & Project Manager - today the German subsidiary of the Danish Group has become the largest of the entire Group and employees 20 local person in a 300 m2 office in Bad Hersfeld.
The German subsidiary is also responsible for sales in Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Sout America, Turkey Italy and France.
In 2002 CALDAN Service GmbH was founded in order to provide service, maintenance and spare parts to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern European countries.
Today CALDAN can count on more than 1000 highly complex and large systems which can reach 2000 m in length, operating in Germany and neighbouring countries. Some world-renowned brands like AUDI, VW, BMW, CLAAS, DEUTZ, PALFINGER, LIEBHERR, JUNGHEINRICH, SIEMENS, SEW, BOSCH and MIELE can be found in the customers list.
CALDAN France 10th anniversary
CALDAN France was founded in Le Mans in 2009 thanks to the initial contacts between Paulo Alfonso, managing director of SEMA, a French supplier of materials handling equipment, and Frank Berg.
Currently the subsidiary is managed by Paulo Alfonso. CALDAN gained years of experience within the materials handling and surface treatment industries, as well as a strong, local base in France thanks to his direction and his team.
The French office also supplies service, maintenance and spare parts. Sales in the French market have become highly significant in the last decade. 2020 it's not only the year of the 10th anniversary of the subsidiary, but also the year of the installation of the 50th conveyor system in France. International brand names like DAFNOSS; AIRBUS, RENAULT, ZT, KUBOTA, SNCF and ROWENTA can be found among the customers.
