With mission to keep improving its customer satisfaction, EcoCortec®s team is launching new service of foam fabrication. The plant is excited to announce its latest addition that will further widen its assortment of environmentally safe corrosion protection packaging.

One the fastest growing European manufactures of anticorrosion packaging materials is now offering stock and custom sizes of Cortec's patented VpCI® 130 series foam sheets as well as BioPad, a unique flexible corrosion inhibiting device constructed from biobased non-woven material. New foam fabricating machine was installed last week in EcoCortec® plant in Croatia.

Foam fabricator will enable the manufacturer to offer smaller quantities to its clients with significantly shorter delivery time. VpCI®-130 Series Foams are unique flexible packaging materials that combine VpCI® protection and desiccant action with excellent antistatic capabilities all in one step allowing to eliminate expensive and messy rust preventatives. Parts protected are always ready for use and application of the foams results in significant weight and labour savings. Metal parts packaged with VpCI®-130 Series Foams receive continuous protection against humidity, condensation, aggressive industrial atmospheres, dissimilar metal corrosion, salt air, and residual impurities left after processing. They are designed with Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®) impregnated throughout the foam's polymeric matrix and will provide multi metal protection while not changing physical or chemical properties.

BioPad® is an eco-friendly sustainable packaging option for corrosion inhibition. Its high VpCI® concentration in combination with thin design, results in material reduction by up to 94% in comparison to similar polyurethane foam emitting devices. It is designed with VpCI® impregnated throughout the substrate. BioPad® is excellent for protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as alloys such as: steel, copper, brass, aluminium, zinc, etc. EcoCortec's customers from now on will able to receive stock and custom-made sizes of BioPad® in record time to protect their valuable assets.
