AkzoNobel boosts availability of Interpon 800 colours for architects, designers and fabricators.
AkzoNobel has significantly expanded the Ready-to-Ship (RTS) range of its Interpon 800 superdurable powder coatings across the US, responding to architects, designers, fabricators and coating specialists’ demand for speed, convenience and durability. The new offering now includes 28 popular, on-trend colours, almost doubling the number of shades available for rapid delivery.
Customers can now receive coatings in as little as two to three business days. The expanded RTS range provides streamlined access to powder coatings engineered to meet AAMA 2604 standards for weather resistance and durability.
Built on the trusted Interpon 800 system, these coatings protect exterior metals used in railings, fencing, pergolas, outdoor furniture, and machinery. They are formulated to withstand abrasion and everyday wear, and thanks to TGIC technology, they perform reliably in demanding outdoor environments. Exceptional resistance to weathering, including UV exposure, ensures that colour and finish remain consistent over time.
“Interpon 800 is a proven industrial powder coating range that delivers reliable exterior performance, making it an excellent choice for outdoor applications where durability, appearance and rapid availability are essential,” has stated Baron Schreuder, Regional Commercial Director for AkzoNobel Powder Coatings in North America.
The newly expanded palette focuses on neutral, contemporary tones commonly requested for exterior applications, available in finishes ranging from fine-textured matt to smooth high gloss. Excellent edge coverage and easy application allow a seamless finish, helping to protect surfaces from corrosion, damage, and the elements.
“By expanding the number of Interpon 800 options within our Ready-to-Ship range, we offer customers greater choice without compromising speed or reliability. Accessible via the My Interpon Portal, the range is simple to specify and quickly delivered, helping customers plan confidently and keep projects on track,” has added Baron Schreuder.
