The award honors the outstanding execution of a complex project with the involvement of international employees from Volvo Sweden and China as well as employees from Dürr Ecoclean.
Dürr Ecoclean Monschau and Schenck Shanghai Machinery Ltd., one of the two Chinese Dürr subsidiaries, were presented with the Award of Excellence by Volvo Car China. The award honors the outstanding execution of a complex project with the involvement of international employees from Volvo Sweden and China as well as employees from Dürr Ecoclean.
In detail, the project is about the delivery of cleaning equipment for the completely new manufacturing line for engines of the VEP4 and GEP3 series at Volvo Car in Zhangjikakou. The cleaning machines for pre-cleaning were locally built at Schenck Shanghai Machinery Ltd. in Shanghai-Baoshan.
The final cleaning systems came from Dürr Ecoclean in Monschau (Germany). Geert Bruyneel (Vice President Purchasing and Manufacturing, Volvo Car Asia Pacific) handed over the award to George E, Sales Director of Dürr China during the Supplier Convention of Volvo Car Asia Pacific at the end of November. Both companies opt for the continuation of this "Story of Success" for future investments.
