EMC 2025 reinforces its growing influence as the premier energy and networking forum in the Eastern Mediterranean, driving cross-border cooperation and commercial momentum.
A resounding success for the Eastern Mediterranean’s flagship energy networking platform, the third edition of the Eastern Mediterranean Conference & Exhibition (EMC 2025) concluded on 20–21 October at the City of Dreams Mediterranean in Limassol, reaffirming its role as the premier forum for regional energy cooperation and dialogue.
A major highlight of the conference was the announcement of strengthened energy ties between Egypt and Cyprus, marked by landmark gas agreements. First gas from the Kronos field is anticipated in 2027. The agreements outline the operational and commercial framework for transporting, processing and liquefying Cypriot natural gas through Egypt’s existing infrastructure, including clear provisions for supply and tariff arrangements.
Throughout the two-day programme, ministerial dialogues, investor panels, and thematic sessions facilitated extensive networking opportunities, paving the way for enhanced cross-border cooperation and commercial activity. By connecting technology innovators, project developers and industry leaders, EMC once again demonstrated its capacity to translate knowledge-sharing into concrete collaboration.
On the exhibition floor, participants engaged in dynamic displays of innovation and commercial exchange, contributing to what organisers described as an unmatched atmosphere of discovery and partnership. The networking dinner offered a distinctive cultural experience, reflecting authentic Cypriot hospitality. Far from a formal sit-down event, the evening featured music, dance and Mediterranean warmth, providing an informal setting to build meaningful relationships beyond the conference environment.
