Internationally operating plant manufacturer Eisenmann sets up a new branch in the US. The location in Novi (MI) will see the centralization of the automotive business for the company's NAFTA region.

Many company centres and numerous plants of the North American automotive industry are based in the region surrounding Detroit. The three main American car manufacturers General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and others have based their headquarters there. But various foreign OEMs are also present in this area with their own facilities.

To be closer to its automotive clients, Eisenmann decided to set up a new location in the US. Sales and service for the automotive industry will be managed centrally from Novi, near Detroit. "As a globally operating plant manufacturer, it is extremely important for us to move closer to our clients in the US. We are now in the centre of the American automotive industry and will be able to present our latest technologies for the automobile production of the future to our clients locally," says Cassiano Fabris, who will lead the new branch, explaining the company's decision. "Strategically speaking, it is a crucial step as the major US automotive manufacturers are currently also intensively working on concepts surrounding Industry 4.0. We have a lot to offer in this field, especially for the automotive paint shop and final assembly, and the interest in our innovative solutions for the connected production is huge. In addition, this customer proximity increases our efficiency in project execution and after-sales service", says Mr Fabris.

Novi is the second location set-up by the global family enterprise within just a few months. In mid-April, Eisenmann already announced the opening of a new sales and service office in Yokohama, Japan. As a result, the company strengthens its' international growth strategy and is now represented at 27 locations in 15 countries worldwide.
