concluded successfully from 25–27 November 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Shanghai, P.R. China. This year’s visitor and exhibitor numbers delivered impressive results, reaffirming the exhibition’s role as a premier platform for cooperation, knowledge exchange and business development. Key figures are as follows:
- Exhibition Scale: The event spanned 15,700 m².
- Visitor Population: A total of 8,510 visitors from 40 countries/regions attended, including 8,005 from Mainland China and 505 from overseas — a 16.2% increase compared with 2024.
- Exhibitor Figures: 303 exhibitors from 17 countries/regions participated, marking an 8.6% rise from 2024. Among them, 79 were new exhibitors, accounting for 26.1% of the total.
- Onsite Technical Programmes: 685 attendees took part in two Technical Seminars and two Technology Forums.
With overseas attendance increasing by an impressive 61.3%, the concurrent Technical Programmes provided participants with valuable insights into industry developments. Onsite visitor surveys confirmed the high level of satisfaction:
- 98.6% reported a positive overall impression of the event.
- 98.1% recognised the exhibition’s significant scale.
- 96.6% praised the high technical level of the concurrent Technical Programmes.
- 94.2% found the products and technologies on display attractive.
- 92.3% agreed the exhibitor mix was comprehensive and reputable.
Exhibitors also offered strong endorsements, emphasising the exhibition’s importance as a business and marketing platform. The 8.6% increase in exhibitor numbers reflects the event’s growing influence. Many exhibitors noted that SFCHINA2025 provided an effective opportunity to showcase innovations and engage with industry peers. Survey results showed:
- 98.8% affirmed the exhibition was one of their important marketing activities in China and Asia;
- 98.8% endorsed its role in strengthening brand or corporate image;
- 97.6% said it helped consolidate existing sales channels and customer relationships;
- 97.6% agreed it supported the development of new markets, customer acquisition and prospect engagement;
- 93.9% considered it an effective platform for promoting new products or services.
This year’s Technical Programme, comprising two Technical Seminars and two Technology Forums, attracted robust participation. The Technology Forums centred on “Opportunities Brought by New Energy Vehicles to the Surface Finishing Industry” and “Advanced Manufacturing & Technological Innovation: Future Oriented Electronic (Chip) Electroplating Processes.” Both sessions drew solid attendance, demonstrating industry-wide interest in surface finishing applications for emerging sectors.
