Vincent Robin is the New Vice President, PPG's Global Automotive Coatings

From November 1, Vincent Robin will serve as Vice President, PPG's Global Automotive Coatings.

Paint manufacturer PPG has appointed Vincent Robin as its new vice president, global automotive coatings. After starting his career at PPG in 1987, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within the automotive industry. He moved to Shanghai in 2010 as Vice President, Automotive Coatings, Asia Pacific, and has been instrumental in growing and strengthening the business in the region. In 2019, he expanded his responsibilities including overseeing all functions in the Asia Pacific region as president, Asia Pacific.

He currently serves as president, Asia Pacific region and vice president, automotive coatings, Asia, and will continue to report to Rebecca Liebert, PPG executive vice president. He will also join the company’s operating committee.

Under this new role, Robin will lead the global automotive coatings business through the development of a growth-focused business strategy, as well as the global launch and execution strategy for PPG's automotive mobility initiatives, which focus on developing a pipeline aimed at electric, autonomous, connected and shared vehicles.
