The new site will serve as a regional hub, enhancing the company’s ability to support commercial aviation operators, MROs, OEMs and industry partners across the Middle East. By providing locally blended and stocked aerospace coatings solutions, the facility will enable products to be tailored to individual customer requirements while reducing lead times.
AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings is set to strengthen its presence in the Middle East with the launch of a new colour blending and distribution facility in Dubai, scheduled to become operational in Q2 2026.
From the Dubai location, AkzoNobel will offer local blending of Aerobase, Aerodur 3001 and Eclipse colours, alongside streamlined access to primers, topcoats and thinners held in stock. Colour blending operations will be supported by automated and precision control processes, ensuring consistent and repeatable colour accuracy in line with standards applied across AkzoNobel’s global network.
