EB/UV Curable Oligomers for Coil Coatings
The presentation will explore EB/UV curable coatings for coil applications, which provide a highly efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional systems. These coatings offer instant curing without the need for extended heating, resulting in faster production cycles and significantly reduced energy consumption. As 100% solid systems, they also minimise VOC emissions.
In addition to process efficiency, these thermoset coatings deliver superior chemical and scratch resistance, making them ideal for environments prone to weathering and corrosion. allnex will present a range of EB/UV curable oligomers and monomers that offer both post-forming flexibility and outstanding durability.
Expanding the World of Energy Curable Field-Applied Coatings
This session will examine how energy-curable technologies, once restricted to controlled manufacturing settings, are now being successfully applied in the field. With advances in both curing equipment and formulation science, field-applied coatings (FAC) now offer enhanced performance in weatherability and resistance properties. The presentation will highlight improved outcomes in concrete, vinyl, and wood flooring, while also exploring emerging applications such as vehicle refinishing.
