Arkema has presented Rheology and Specialty Additives, its new offering aimed at supporting customers seeking high-performance and more sustainable solutions for a wide range of applications and sectors.

The new offering of Arkema has been specifically developed to provide more sustainable solutions, such as bio-based products with a lower carbon footprint, and reduce water consumption. It will then help formulators to select the most suitable materials to reach their performance and sustainability targets.

“Arkema has been for more than 50 years a leading global designer and manufacturer of rheology and specialty additives. This offering pulls together all of Arkema’s expertise in this specialized area to provide customers a broad array of materials that enhance the performance of end products, while developing more sustainable attributes,” has stated Karine Elie, the managing director of Rheology and Specialty Additives at Arkema.

Rheology & Specialty Additives gathers the portfolio of waterborne rheology additives and modifiers, synthetic thickeners, dispersants and anti-scaling, dispersing and anti-settling agents of Arkema under the flagship brands Coapur™, Rheotech™, Viscoatex™ and Coadis™. In addition, it includes also the Crayvallac® range of organic rheology and surface modifiers, flow and levelling agents for high-solids and solvent-free solutions, complementing the resins portfolio for low VOC coating technologies of the company.

“This leading offering supports Arkema’s vision and strategies that emphasize innovation to develop more sustainable materials. It creates highly valuable synergies for technologies and markets, enabling limitless possibilities in partnering with customers and supporting them in achieving their sustainable development goals,” has declared Laurent Peyronneau, the global president of Arkema Coating Additives.
