This latest investment reinforces BASF’s long-term commitment to sustainability and innovation in the coatings and construction sectors.
BASF
has launched a new production line for dispersions used in architectural coatings and construction materials at its facility in Dilovası (Turkey). The expansion significantly boosts the site’s production capacity, enabling BASF to meet growing regional demand across Türkiye, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa. It also broadens the local product portfolio, supporting the shift in customer needs and fostering innovation in sustainable
materials.
The new line produces low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions, which contribute to improved indoor air quality. In addition, the Dilovası site has implemented BASF’s Mass Balance approach, allowing the manufacture of dispersions with a reduced carbon footprint. The entire facility operates on green electricity, underlining BASF’s commitment to advancing its customers’ green transformation goals.
