Dürr Unveils New EcoPump GW iD Gear Metering Pump for Industrial Coating Applications

Date: 01/09/2026

Designed specifically for standard 1K and 2K coating materials, the new series focuses on improving durability, operational ease, and cost efficiency across manufacturing environments.

The global engineering company Dürr has launched the EcoPump GW iD, an optimised gear metering pump engineered for precise paint dosing in industrial coating processes.

The EcoPump GW iD delivers accurate volumetric flow rates ranging from 9 to 900 ml/min, allowing it to be adapted to a broad spectrum of industrial applications. To protect long-term surface quality and handle demanding operating conditions, every model in the range comes equipped with an Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon (ADLC) coating as standard.

Key design and safety features include:

  • Protective Bypass Valve: Available as an option, the integrated bypass valve functions as a pressure-relief mechanism that automatically opens during overpressure events, safeguarding downstream application equipment from operational errors and process disruptions.
  • Patented Shaft Bearing: Flushable models incorporate a patented shaft bearing design that significantly extends overall pump service life, lowering maintenance costs and boosting system reliability.
  • System Integration: The unit works within Dürr’s ready2integrate concept, ensuring preconfigured compatibility between the control system, metering technology, and applicator for faster installation and higher reliability.

The EcoPump GW iD is designed to form part of Dürr's Fluid Board2, combining essential paint metering components within a compact footprint. For upgrades to existing setups, the unit can be retrofitted onto the previous Fluid Board1 generation or installed independently as a standalone component.
