IMMERSION SENSOR

By combining concentration monitoring and gas bubble detection in a single inline solution, LiquiSonic® improves production efficiency, enhances product quality and supports scalable, cost-effective manufacturing in the paints and coatings industry. The technology sets a new benchmark for modern process analytics in coating production.

Early and reliable gas bubble detection is a critical factor in paints and coatings manufacturing, where even minimal gas inclusions can lead to defects such as pinholing, inconsistent film thickness, colour variation or reduced surface quality. Undetected gas bubbles may also indicate process disturbances, including air entrainment, leaks or phase separation, all of which can compromise product consistency and process efficiency.

Using ultrasonic technology, SensoTech’s LiquiSonic® system enables real-time detection of gas bubbles directly within the process line. The sensor continuously evaluates acoustic signals, while an intelligent algorithm identifies characteristic patterns associated with gas-related disturbances. This allows operators to identify anomalies at an early stage, reducing the risk of batch rejection and supporting stable, reproducible coating formulations.

Designed for continuous inline operation, “LiquiSonic®” sensors can simultaneously measure concentration and detect gas bubbles, eliminating the need for manual sampling. Their robust, maintenance-free design and high measurement accuracy make them particularly suitable for paints and coatings applications, from pigment dispersions and binders to solvents and finished formulations, where transparency, quality control and process reliability are essential.
