Scheduled to take place from 7–9 September 2027 at the Singapore EXPO, the new trade fair is designed to complement InnoTrans Berlin, the world's leading platform for transport technology. In the dynamic and rapidly expanding Asia-Pacific market, advanced surface treatments, anti-corrosion coatings, and industrial finishing technologies are set to take centre stage as operators look to protect infrastructure and rolling stock from the region's harsh tropical climates.

A year and a half before its official debut, InnoTrans Asia 2027 is already generating immense global momentum. Organisers have confirmed that roughly 30% of the exhibition space is already fully booked, with exhibitors from 30 countries securing their stands well ahead of the premiere.

“We are delighted with the extremely promising start of InnoTrans Asia. Having so many exhibitors on board at such an early stage is generating great anticipation for the coming months,” has stated Kai Mangelberger, Head of the Mobility Division at Messe Berlin.

Leading global players such as Continental, HARTING Singapore Pte Ltd, Vossloh AG, and Bozankaya have already confirmed their participation. The highly international line-up will be complemented by official national pavilions from Japan, Spain, Australia, and Switzerland.

Furthermore, a joint German national pavilion is being organised with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, in cooperation with AUMA (the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry), providing a strong networking platform for European engineering and surface technology firms. Berlin and Brandenburg are also planning a dedicated partner pavilion.

Buses are set to play a pivotal role at the event. With the introduction of the BUS2BUS ZONE in the Public Transport segment, Messe Berlin is responding directly to the surging regional demand for comprehensive urban mobility solutions.

For the surface treatment sector, this dedicated zone opens massive opportunities regarding specialised anti-wear coatings for electric vehicle chassis, lightweight composite primers, and strict fire-retardant interior finishes required by modern transit safety standards.

Surface finishing manufacturers and technology providers looking to capitalise on early-bird rates can meet the Singapore organising team directly at the upcoming anniversary edition of InnoTrans in Berlin (22–25 September 2026), where a prominently located information hub will be available.
