LB Group has recently signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Venator to acquire Venator’s titanium dioxide (TiO₂) manufacturing facility at Greatham (United Kingdom), along with associated TiO₂ assets.
The acquisition of Venator’s Greatham TiO₂ site strengthens LB Group’s position in the paints and coatings market. Titanium dioxide is a critical pigment that provides superior whiteness, opacity, and colour vibrancy, ensuring high-quality finishes with fewer coats. It also enhances durability, helping coatings resist weathering, UV damage, and fading over time.
