The benchmark for top-quality powder supply.

Powder centers form the core of an automatic powder coating system. WAGNER, one of the leading manufacturers, has added a new system to its range of powder centers: The WAGNER PXS is not only the heart of the powder supply, it also represents the entire coating system as the entire system control is already integrated in the switch cabinet and is operating via the central touchscreen. The compact design enables a space-saving and ergonomic integration of the system into the individual working environment of the customer. Thanks to its diverse functions which enable a high degree of automation as well as an efficient powder application, this premium system is particularly suitable for challenging coating tasks with various demands. The powder feed is started with the fresh powder supply directly from the powder box. A BigBag can also optionally be integrated into the system. The powder is supplied to the guns from a sealed container which enables a clean working environment. The vibration and fluidization of the powder in order to ensure ideal powder preparation are standard features here. In doing so, the extremely short suction path from the powder injectors result in improved performance and less wear. Thanks to the quick-release catch, it is possible to change a single collector nozzle in only five seconds which, consequently, reduces servicing times many times over. The optional ultrasound sieve, which is fully integrated into the fluid tank, reduces the entry of dirt, dissolves agglomerates and demonstrably leads to a significantly improved surface quality with a high degree of application efficiency.

The WAGNER PXS powder center is able to set new standards thanks to its automatic optimization of color change processes in particular. In addition to the customer-specific configuration of the color change processes, the "Intelligent Color Change" function can be used to initiate the control intelligence of the system. This means that only the cycles that are necessary are actually activated. For instance, the respective cleaning sequence is omitted if the ultrasound sieve is not used for a particular batch. The user is guided through the clearly-designed menu on the touchscreen during the color change process. This significantly reduces the error risks and enables reproducible results to be achieved. As the user has an ideal overview of the entire process sequence, they are always in control of the color change sequence. A unique feature is the integrated powder consumption documentation for each batch and shade which provides useful information for warehousing and quality. The data can be downloaded via a USB interface and can also be further processed on the customer's computer for statistical purposes. The PXS can be ideally tailored to specific customer requirements thanks to its modular structure.
