This merger represents a significant development for the WAGNER Group, aimed at reducing operational complexity and leveraging synergies to strengthen the Group's future. This move allows customers to benefit from an almost complete, comprehensive portfolio of surface coating technologies.
As of February 1, 2026, the long-standing WAGNER subsidiary, Walther Spritz- und Lackiersysteme GmbH, has officially become part of J. Wagner GmbH. Moving forward, the business will operate under the globally recognised WAGNER brand.

The three German sites, Markdorf, Wuppertal, and Struthütten, will work in closer collaboration, with the Struthütten site continuing its role as a competence center for laser and welding operations and cyclone manufacturing for powder coating.
