DÖRKEN showcased its comprehensive expertise in the field of functional surfaces and corrosion protection systems for demanding applications in the onshore and offshore sectors.
Four days packed with discussion, innovation and forward-looking topics: at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, DÖRKEN presented solutions for efficient corrosion protection in the wind industry and used the trade fair as a platform for intensive dialogue with customers, partners and industry experts.
From 22 to 25 September, the international wind industry gathered at the exhibition centre in Hamburg to discuss the latest developments, technological innovations and opportunities for the energy transition. Around 40,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries across the entire value chain took the opportunity to exchange ideas in person and to network. WindEnergy Hamburg once again demonstrated the high standing the sector enjoys in the transformation of the energy supply and how dynamically it continues to develop.
DÖRKEN drew a positive conclusion. There were numerous inspiring discussions with customers and partners from the wind industry, as well as in-depth exchanges on current challenges and future requirements for modern corrosion protection systems. Key topics included, amongst others, two-component room-temperature-curing coating systems and products without intentionally added PFAS.
“WindEnergy is one of our most important platforms for establishing and maintaining dialogue with key industry players. We gained a great deal of valuable insight and, at the same time, were able to demonstrate how DÖRKEN helps to increase the durability and reliability of components in wind turbines through innovative coating solutions,” has explained René Frederik Rother, Key Account Manager for Industrial Coatings.
Moreover, the trade fair provided an opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new contacts. The face-to-face exchanges with various experts from the wind industry provided valuable insights into current market requirements and future developments.
“The positive response to our booth and the high quality of the discussions demonstrate just how important direct dialogue is for joint innovation. We would like to thank all visitors for their keen interest and are already looking forward to the next edition of the trade fair,” has added Klaus Gradtke, also a Key Account Manager for Industrial Coatings.
