Fiat Group Automobiles Approves Three Axalta Coating Systems Refinish Brands for Dealers and Mopar Bodyshops in Europe

Fiat Group Automobiles Mopar® Parts & Service and Customer Care division has approved Axalta's three global refinish brands – Cromax®, Spies Hecker and Standox.

Axalta Coating Systems, a global automotive coatings leader, announces that Fiat Group Automobiles Mopar® Parts & Service and Customer Care division has approved Axalta's three global refinish brands – Cromax®, Spies Hecker and Standox - for use in selected dealerships and bodyshops across Europe.

Adrien Schrobiltgen, Vice President of Refinish Systems for Axalta in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, says: "This new agreement reinforces our partnership with Fiat Group Automobiles. The intent of the agreement is a close commercial cooperation between Fiat Group Automobiles and Axalta Coating Systems within European countries for continuous improvement in paint repair, thanks to the Cromax®, Spies Hecker and Standox refinish product systems. The agreement also covers the brands' technical colour management and other service support for Fiat Group Automobiles bodyshops in Austria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland. Fiat bodyshops in other markets, such as France, Spain, Greece and the Czech Republic, have expressed their interest in having the approval extended to them as well.
