The new Division President Jörg Hinnerwisch and the managing director Stefan Mößmer will bring important contributions in the specialty chemicals market.
The specialty chemicals supplier ALTANA has recently announced a series of changes in its BYK division. As a matter of fact, the former CTO of BYK Jörg Hinnerwisch assumes the role of Division President and joins the Executive Management Team of Altana. In addition, the head of the Paint Additives business line Stefan Mößmer becomes the managing director for the Marketing & Commercial section of BYK.
The new Division President Jörg Hinnerwisch holds a bachelor degree in biochemist and as well as a doctorate in business administration. He has a deep experience in covering several management roles for the chemical market and helped BYK to advance its global research and development division by establishing a sustainability area and bringing several innovations in the bio-based sector.

The newly managing director of the Marketing & Commercial section at BYK Stefan Mößmer holds a doctorate in chemistry. Before joining BYK in 2000, he covered various positions in research and development and became head of the Wetting and Dispersing Additives product group in 2006 and responsible for the Paint Additives business line in 2013.
