Argos Surface Technologies, an Italian industrial group specialising in surface treatments and coatings, has announced the appointment of Paolo Grimaldi as Chief Executive Officer for Italy. The move forms part of a broader organisational evolution aimed at strengthening industrial integration and strategic coordination across the country.
The Group’s development is also driven by the people entrusted with leading change. In this context, Grimaldi’s appointment to oversee the Italian perimeter consolidates a vision centred on integration, flexibility and customer value creation.
With solid industry experience and a professional growth path developed within the Group, Paolo Grimaldi will coordinate national operations with the objective of enhancing integration among the Business Units, streamlining processes and increasing overall operational effectiveness.

Argos Surface Technologies is an Italian industrial group specialising in surface treatments and coatings – including nickel plating, anodising, cataphoresis, industrial painting, polymers, metallisation and galvanic treatments – applied to metals, plastics and carbon fibre. Established in 2020 on the initiative of the Gradiente II fund (Gradiente SGR), the Group has progressively integrated several leading companies in the sector. Today it generates approximately €80 million in revenue, employs more than 500 people and operates 15 facilities across Lombardy, Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna.
