This new certification will support the progressive introduction of a complete range of bio-attributed specialty resins and additives, including high solids, waterborne, UV-LED-EB, and polyester powder materials from Arkema.
Arkema has achieved ISCC PLUS certification for its facility in Navi Mumbai (India). The certification covers the production of speciality acrylic and alkyd resins, as well as polyester liquid and powder resins.
This milestone marks a key step in Arkema’s global roadmap for its Mass Balance offer and reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainability. The certified products will support customers across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East with more sustainable coating solutions for sectors including energy and infrastructure efficiency, e-mobility, advanced technologies, urban development, and living comfort.
“Navi Mumbai is a key production and innovation hub in the region where we have been working on new solutions, including gradually substituting virgin fossil feedstocks with renewable and more circular sources, to improve our offer. This demonstrates Arkema’s commitment to support customers in pursuing their own sustainability goals and to bring lower carbon footprint solutions,” has stated Vivek Jagtap, Managing Director of Arkema Chemicals India.
