Recharging the batteries to start again with a sprint.

August meant for us at ipcm the unofficial (but in some ways official) beginning of summer - that moment when you pack your bags not for the next business trip but to reach the chosen holiday destination.

After a period characterized by several fairs, business trips and events - highlight of which had to be our evening organized to celebrate our tenth anniversary - the editorial office left behind the keyboards and turned off the computers for a couple of weeks.

But not before having distributed the July issue of ipcm and prepared the August edition of ipcmIbérica and ipcmLatinoAmérica. This is because - borrowing the words of our editor-in-chief, which you can read in the editor's letter of the above mentioned magazines dedicated to the Iberian and South American markets - summer and the holiday period usually represent that moment when we brush up on everything that has been set aside during the year for lack of time. So why not offer our readers summer issues for a more relaxed reading?

Back at work With our batteries recharged from the sun and the sea we immediately got back to work to face the remaining four months of the year. And not only.

We are preparing the international exhibition and conference guide for 2020, a calendar that brings together all the most important events for the surface treatment sector in the world, and which has become a functional and essential tool to choose which trade fairs to attend.

We are also working on the new media guides of the magazines: in addition to the new editorial calendar, you will have the opportunity to know and analyse the results obtained in 2019. These tools represent the ID of our magazines and of the digital world of ipcm, a way for us to communicate in a straight-forward way the outcome of the work done so far and all that the ipcm world can offer to support companies in promoting their technologies.

In our agenda, two particularly important events have already been marked: from 8 to 10 October we will be in Karlsruhe for DeburringEXPO, the international fair for deburring technologies and precision surfaces; we will return to Karlsruhe from 21 to 24 April 2020 to PaintExpo, the world's leading trade fair for industrial coating technologies.

EOS Mktg & Communication is the exclusive agency for Italy, Spain and Portugal of both fairs, which are already expected to be, for volume and level of the attendees, two pivotal events for the industry.
