The addition of the new robot cell at Dürr’s training centre enables participants to gain hands-on experience with the latest EcoRS robot generation in real-world conditions. This upgrade also enhances Dürr’s training centre flexibility, allowing it to run more courses concurrently and better respond to customer demand.
The global engineering company Dürr has enhanced its training centre in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Germany) with the addition of a sealing robot cell.
Well-trained personnel are crucial for maintaining high product quality and ensuring long-term system availability. To support this, Dürr offers tailored training programmes for various user groups, delivered in production-oriented environments within the paint and thick-film application sectors.
In spring 2025, the training centre was upgraded with a sealing robot cell featuring the EcoRail HS and two state-of-the-art robots: the EcoRS N20i and EcoRS L15i. The cell also includes the EcoShot Meter and EcoGun2 3D dosing and application technology, as well as the EcoTemp PT temperature control system, which ensures the highly viscous sealing material is brought to the optimal processing temperature.
“The expansion enables us to provide ideal training for our customers on the latest Dürr sealing technology. Our courses cover mechanical and electrical maintenance, including assemblies and control systems. In addition, the new training cell offers robot programming and plant operator training specifically for sealing processes,” has stated José Gamero, head of the training centre at Dürr.
