New Axalta’s solution combining colour performance, sustainability, and ease of application.

Axalta, a global supplier of coatings, announces the launch of Spies Hecker Hi-FLX, its innovative waterborne two-stage base designed for workshops painting across Europe. This system delivers outstanding colour performance with a simple wet-on-wet application process, optimising workflow while providing excellent value for money.

Spies Hecker Hi-FLX achieves full coverage in just 2.5 coats, is easy to apply, and offers precise effect control. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of repairs, while the waterborne formula provides high-quality results in a more environmentally friendly way. When combined with Axalta Irus, the digital colour management system, workshops can efficiently and accurately match colours using a database of over 100,000 solid and effect colour formulas.

“Spies Hecker Hi-FLX is the result of 20 years of continuous development with Axalta’s patented waterborne technology. It has been specifically designed to meet the needs of painters, offering a two-stage base that combines ease of use with exceptional and visually appealing finishes, reaffirming our commitment to provide complete solutions for every repair,” has stated Fabien Boschetti, Vice-President of Sales, Axalta EMEA.

The base is available in innovative bottles of 100 ml, 350 ml, and 800 ml, made with 50% recycled plastic. The advanced design eliminates the need for mixing machines, allowing painters to store bottles on shelves and simply shake before use. The precision dosing cap ensures accurate mixing, reducing waste and maximising product use.
