The DÖRKEN trade fair team stated that it was more than satisfied with its participation in WindEnergy Hamburg.
WindEnergy Hamburg was a great success. For the first time since 2018, the event saw a large attendance from the wind industry operators. The fair, held from 27 to 30 September 2022, saw the participation of over 1,400 international exhibitors and about 30,000 visitors from 92 countries. Exhibiting companies and associations covered the entire value chain of the onshore and offshore wind industry. In addition to the exhibition stands, there were several panel discussions, conferences and networking events.
The DÖRKEN exhibition team attended WindEnery Hamburg and said they were very satisfied with the outcome of the event. Many visitors visited the booth to learn about corrosion protection solutions. Particularly interesting was the zinc flake coating as an alternative to other corrosion protection systems, as well as in the room curing solutions from DÖRKEN.
René Rother, Klaus Gradtke and Iñigo Hoz Imaz had valuable discussions with numerous industry representatives.
“WindEnergy Hamburg was a great information transfer for us”, summarizes René Rother, Key Account Manager Industrial Coatings. “We reached a broad spectrum of national and international visitors and discussed optimization potentials together. The supporting program with presentations also gave us exciting, new insights”. Rother himself had lectured in the Speakers' Corner on how to make hot-dip galvanized fittings even better. “It was very nice to finally get together again at this trade show. We are already looking forward to the next WindEnergy Hamburg in two years!”.
