Marcel Pfeifer will be the new managing director of H2O China, succeeding to Roland Lochner, who sadly passed away in the summer from a serious illness.
H2O announced that Marcel Pfeifer will be the new managing director of the company’s Chinese branch, taking on the role of the late Roland Lochner.
Marcel Pfeifer has been employed at H2O since March 2014, moving to the company’s Chinese branch Kunshan in 2019 to build up the Asian service network.
"For me, China was new territory at the time, but I was very impressed by the flexibility of the people. No matter what needs to be done or what goes wrong, it always works out somehow in the end”, explained Marcel Pfeifer.
Pfeifer will work to further improve team performance, drive market development in China and expand production so that a higher proportion of deliveries can be manufactured directly on site.
"I am looking forward to the new tasks - and to my great team, which I already know well. Together we will master the challenges, I am convinced of that”, stated Pfeifer.
The subsidiary H2O Kunshan Water Treatment in China started in June 2015 with only two employees. Today, the team has grown to eleven professionals and many more are to come. Together, they look after around 100 customer installations of all machine sizes.
