Heidi Petz Will Be the New CEO of Sherwin-Williams

The next CEO of Sherwin-Williams will aid the company by strengthening its market position and consolidating the production of paints and coatings.

The international paints and coatings manufacturer Sherwin-Williams has announced that its Board of Directors elected Heidi G. Petz as the next Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective from 1st January 2024. She is currently the president and Chief Operating Officer of Sherwin-Williams and will succeed to John Morikis, while also maintaining her current presidential role.

Petz has a deep experience and knowledge of the coating industry and covered several prestigious roles in this sector. Before joining the company in 2017, she worked for important multinational companies, such as The Americas Group, the Brands Group, Target Corporation and Newell Rubbermaid. She holds a bachelor's degree in business and leadership from the University of Richmond (United States of America) as well as an MBA from the Loyola University Maryland (U.S.A.).

Furthermore, Petz serves on the Board of Directors of Ulta Beauty, on the Board of the University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland (Ohio, U.S.A.) and is also a member of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies Policy Advisory Board.
