For the first time on an international circuit, the safety barriers and vertical signage at the Monza racetrack have been coated with a paint from Mapei that is entirely CO₂ neutral.

The paint used was Mapecoat TNS Race VRT Zero, a single-component acrylic paint from Mapei's Zero Line, designed to guarantee resistance, durability and a matt finish that reduces reflections in unfavourable lighting conditions. The residual CO₂ emissions are fully offset through the purchase of carbon credits for reforestation and biodiversity protection projects.

The work also involved kerbs, the starting grid, pits and escape routes, where Mapecoat TNS Race Track, a FIM and FIA-approved coloured acrylic finish, was applied to ensure durable, non-slip and weather-resistant surfaces.

With this project, the Monza National Autodrome becomes the first track in the world to adopt a Zero paint for its signage: a new milestone that combines technology, safety and sustainability.
