Nordson Industrial Coatings Systems announced a leadership change in the EMEA business unit, appointing Freek Bressers as the new ICS Sales Director.
After the retirement of Vice President Andre de Veer – who spent 38 years in the company, holding different leading positions and playing a key role in the development of the HDLV dense phase technology – Nordson Industrial Coating Systems has appointed Freek Bressers as the new Sales Director for the EMEA region.
“Andre has held a variety of positions throughout his impressive career and most recently was responsible for the entire European market for powder coating systems, container coating systems, sealant & cold materials dispensing systems, and liquid coating and UV systems”, stated Nordson. “He played a key role in the development of the HDLV dense phase technology, which has been conquering the powder coating market since 2004. Andre de Veer has been a significant pillar of Nordson's success with his sense of purpose for the company, its employees and its customers”.
Freek Bressers, who has been now working at Nordson for 11 years, has extensive experience in business development, sales management and continuous improvement. He has had various roles at Nordson in different division including Sales, Continuous Improvement.
In his latest role as Global Customer Experience Manager for the Nordson IPS segment he was responsible for the transition of Customer Service from a Shared Service Center to a divisional Led structure.
“He has been successful in leveraging best practices from different industries to help our organization and customers in their next steps of production and development”, stated the company. “His focus will be to continue the growth of the Industrial Coating Systems business in Europe while executing the Ascend strategy with the NBS Next growth framework.”
Freek Bressers has taken on his new role as Sales Director EMEA starting from November 1st, 2021.
