“Paintings from a lifetime of Paint”: The Art Exhibition by HMG Paints’ John Falder

Date: 25/05/2021

John Falder, Managing Director of HMG Paints, will host the art exhibition “Paintings from a Lifetime of Paint” starting from 12th June in Anglesey.

"Paintings from a Lifetime of Paint” is the name of the art exhibition by HMG Paints’ Managing Director John Falder, which will open its doors on 12th June at the Oriel Ger Y Fenai Gallery in Anglesey, UK.

This will be the first exhibition of Mr. Falder, who possesses a wide knowledge of paint, having spent a lifetime creating paints.

“More than anything else, I want people to enjoy the pictures and let them speak to you of memories of the local area. My pictures are memories and stories mainly centred around Anglesey and Snowdonia. Each painting is inspired by a particular time, event and place and trying to capture a specific moment,” Falder commented on the event, which has been organised without his prior knowledge.

The start of the exhibition is also symbolic, as it aligns with Mr. Falder’s start within the paint industry. In fact, 2021 marks Falder’s 45th year at HMG Paint and 30 years as Managing Director of the family-owned business in Manchester.

The Oriel Ger Y Fenai Gallery showcases also the artworks of famous North Wales artists such as Kyffin Williams, William Selwyn, Wilf Roberts and Philip Snow. Visitors can contact post@orielgeryfenai.co.uk for more information.
