The new industrial coatings facility represents a strategic investment in the region, where harsh winter conditions can make timely customer support challenging. With designated Sales and Technical Service Representatives based at the new location, Sherwin-Williams can offer faster turnaround times, increased support and a broader range of customized solutions to Canadian customers.

The Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Coatings division announces the opening of a new facility in Saskatoon (Canada), to boost its ability to deliver high-performance coatings and responsive service to customers of all sizes across central Canada.

“This expansion puts us right in the heart of central Canada so we can respond faster, minimize downtime and deliver solutions when and where our customers need them. We see so much potential in this region. We’re excited to be part of the community, to support local manufacturers, and to grow alongside local businesses,” has stated Michael Allen, Regional Facility Manager, Sherwin-Williams General Industrial

Located between existing facilities in Winnipeg and Calgary, the Saskatoon facility improves accessibility, reduces reliance on third-party logistics and ensures faster turnaround times. It also features automated tinting equipment for precise color consistency, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to quality, efficiency and customer support – from start to finish.

Sherwin-Williams hosted a grand opening event to celebrate with the Saskatoon community. The open house included behind-the-scenes tours and interactive experiences, as well as optional Innovation Days educational sessions. Led by Sherwin-Williams experts and industry partners, these sessions explored innovative solutions to common finishing challenges, new developments in the industry and factors influencing future outlooks.
