Sun Chemical Acquired SAPICI to Expand the Polymers and Lamination Adhesives Portfolio

The acquisition will allow Sun Chemical to produce unique polymers for its inks, coatings and lamination adhesives.

Sun Chemical has recently announced the acquisition of SAPICI, an international company specialised in high-performance polyurethanes for coatings, flexible packaging and industrial adhesives, in order to further strengthen its supply strategy for industrial coatings, elastomers, industrial adhesives and sealants.

With this acquisition, Sun Chemical aims to expand its offering to customers by adding capabilities to develop and produce unique polymers for its entire portfolio of inks, coatings and lamination adhesives.
