Sun Chemical to Showcase Advanced Materials and Colour Innovations at ACS 2026

At booth n. 1866, the company will exhibit a comprehensive portfolio of functional polymers, effect pigments, and digital tools, all engineered to support high-performance, sustainable, and future-ready coatings.

Sun Chemical has announced it will present its latest developments in advanced materials and colour solutions at the American Coatings Show (ACS) 2026. The event is set to take place from 5-7 May 2026 in Indianapolis (Indiana, USA).

Visitors to the Sun Chemical stand will be introduced to:

  • Low monomer polyisocyanates: Designed for polyaspartic systems to extend pot life while ensuring superior mechanical performance.
  • High-performance polyurethane dispersions: Tailored for demanding applications in flooring, textiles, and artificial leather.
  • Ceranate™ hybrid acrylic siloxane technologies: Developed to provide enhanced outdoor durability.
  • Hydran™ GP high solid PU dispersions: Offering high-performance solutions without the use of amines.

Sun Chemical is also set to unveil several new additions to its colour portfolio:

  • Glacier™ Exterior Ceramic White S1303M: A new effect pigment based on transparent synthetic mica, providing a smooth satin effect, high brightness, and distinctness of image.
  • Paliocrom® Sparkling Crimson L 4050: The latest addition to the Paliocrom® aluminium effects range, described as the most bluish-red aluminium effect pigment for premium automotive and industrial coatings.
  • Fanchon® Orange 36 / 271-6136: A pigment orange 36 ideal for universal architectural and industrial applications, particularly those requiring lead-free solutions.
  • Sunbrite® Red 177 / 227-7177: A transparent, general-purpose anthraquinone offering intense chroma and a bluish down-flop for two-wheeler coatings.
  • Paliogen® Maroon L 3836: A new high-performance organic red pigment option within the established Cinquasia® and Paliogen® families.
  • Heliogen® Blue and Green: High-purity Phthalocyanine pigments designed to meet evolving regulatory standards.
