Univar Solutions Is One of Newsweek's Most Responsible Companies in America Of 2024

Univar Solutions has been recognised one the Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek thanks to its efforts on environmental sustainability, social impact and corporate governance goals.

The international chemicals provider Univar Solutions has announced it has been named on the 2024 Newsweek's list of America's Most Responsible Companies for the third consecutive year. The award is presented by Newsweek and Statista and represents the companies that have measured against key performance indicators (KPI), namely environmental sustainability, social impact and corporate governance.

"Receiving this recognition for a third consecutive year from Newsweek is a true accomplishment and shows a record of success as our teams work to deliver impressive results in connection with our environmental sustainability, social impact, and governance targets. Every year we strive to get better and continue to lead our industry in many ways. Our efforts include our recent decision to build and publish a robust Scope 3 roadmap through close collaboration with our supply chain for our near-term goal," has declared David Jukes, President and CEO of Univar Solutions.

Furthermore, Univar Solutions has accomplished the Scopes 1 and 2 emissions reduction by 16% from its baseline, reducing the global Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR) by 30% to 0.33% as well as strengthening its sourcing activities by rolling out a supplier code of conduct to new suppliers.
