The Italian specialist in high-end surface finishes Vernici Caldart joins Berlac Group, with full continuity of operations.
Berlac Group has acquired a majority stake in Vernici Caldart S.r.l., an Italian company specialising in high-value-added industrial finishes. Brothers Marco and Paolo Caldart remain shareholders and will continue to support the company's development.
The transaction brings together two companies with a shared vision: the surface as an essential part of a product's value. For Vernici Caldart, it means joining an international organisation and gaining access to new markets and growth opportunities through the other companies in the group. At the same time, Vernici Caldart will contribute its formulation and application expertise
while gaining new know-how from its sister companies. The result is a stronger group built on a shared technical culture.
The addition of Vernici Caldart creates both production and commercial synergies for Berlac Group and marks its direct entry into the Italian market. Italy is one of the world's leading hubs for eyewear, cosmetic packaging and design-driven industrial applications.
Vernici Caldart will continue operating without disruption. Its markets, customers, divisions and brands remain unchanged, as do its sales and technical contacts. Its two production sites in Bellusco and Pojana Maggiore, together with their R&D and Quality Control laboratories, will continue operating as usual.
