AkzoNobel highlights durable and design-driven FIDURA™ solutions for modern façades at Zak World of Facades Barcelona 2026.
At the latest edition of Zak World of Facades in Barcelona, AkzoNobel
presented its FIDURA™ coil coating systems, offering architects and façade specialists new insights into high-performance coatings developed for contemporary building applications. Held on 12 March 2026, the one-day event brought together leading decision-makers from across the building sector to explore sustainable design, materials innovation and the future of façade engineering.
During the event, AkzoNobel highlighted the capabilities of its FIDURA coil coating systems, which are designed to deliver long-lasting protection and visual appeal on pre-painted steel and aluminium substrates. Developed specifically for construction applications, the systems combine flexibility with proven durability in demanding environments, while also providing a wide range of customisable finishes for architectural projects.
FIDURA coatings are engineered to reflect the conditions buildings face throughout their lifecycle. By addressing practical needs such as durability, longevity and visual quality, the systems aim to ensure that coated surfaces maintain both their protective properties and aesthetic impact over time.
The range is available in three performance tiers - Essential, Advanced and Premium - allowing specifiers to match coating performance to specific project requirements. Suitable for applications including metal doors, roofing systems, wall panels and façades, the coatings are formulated to resist UV exposure, corrosion, chemicals and surface scratches. Backed by stringent quality control processes and extensive warranties, the systems are designed to provide dependable long-term performance for architects, façade consultants and coil coaters.
