Set against the backdrop of one of the Mediterranean’s most important ports, Genoa offers not only a deep maritime heritage but also a striking and vibrant environment - making it the ideal location to connect, collaborate, and shape the next chapter of global shipping.

The international maritime community is set to gather in the historic port city of Genoa from 17 to 18 June for the highly anticipated Genoa Maritime Forum. The prestigious event will welcome local, regional, and international shipowners, alongside ship managers, port authorities, regulators, policymakers, classification societies, and a broad spectrum of technology companies, service providers, and suppliers.

At the heart of the forum lies a comprehensive agenda built around ten focused panel discussions, each tackling a critical aspect of the industry’s ongoing transformation. Decarbonisation will take centre stage in Navigating the Green Horizon, whilst the Fuel Pathways Showdown will examine competing alternatives such as methanol, ammonia, LNG/Bio-LNG, and drop-in biofuels. Efficiency and sustainability will also be addressed through Energy Efficiency Revolution and Retrofit & Conversion, highlighting practical pathways for immediate operational impact.

Beyond environmental priorities, the programme places a strong emphasis on people and operations. The Human Element will explore seafarer wellbeing and safety, whilst Cyberproof Operations will focus on protecting fleets and port infrastructure from digital threats. Innovation-driven sessions, including The Digital Ocean, AI in Maritime Operations, and Next-Generation Shipbuilding, will showcase how cutting-edge technology is reshaping maritime operations and vessel design. The agenda concludes with Cruise Fleet Modernization, addressing the evolving demands surrounding efficiency, compliance, and passenger experience.

Complementing the conference sessions, the forum is designed as a powerful networking hub. With around 30 exhibitors on-site, attendees will have direct access to solution providers across a wide spectrum — from decarbonisation and digital technologies to maintenance, crewing, and other essential maritime services. Dedicated networking sessions will create vital opportunities for companies to exchange ideas, discuss operational needs, and forge new partnerships. Furthermore, a gala cocktail reception will enhance the experience, offering a relaxed setting for informal conversations and relationship building.
