The partnership between PPG and the Facts on Climate Change organisation will further support the sustainable education.

The international paints and coatings manufacturer PPG has announced a partnership with the Czech science organisation ‘Facts on Climate Change’ to launch the Atlas of Climate Change project as well as to support several eco-friendly initiatives. This collaboration is also part of the company's plan to invest $5 million in environmental sustainability education by 2030.

The Atlas of Climate Change flagship project is funded by PPG and will be translated into English to reach a broader audience. In addition, PPG is involved in other initiatives around this project, including a series of podcasts focused on the social and human aspects of climate change and the creation of educational materials for teachers.

“As a business committed to environmental responsibility, we recognize the significance of organizations like Facts on Climate Change as educators. Its work demystifies climate impacts and promotes unity in addressing it through education. Supporting it helps create a future where facts, understanding and collective education drive positive change,” has stated Jan Šipan, sales director for Architectural Coatings at PPG Czech.

Facts on Climate Change provides several interesting discussion points to find meaningful and long-term solutions. Besides the project, there are also materials and activities such as infographics, podcasts and conferences that bridge the gap between science, public and economics.

“Finding and promoting solutions to the rise in global average temperature and other environmental problems is not a simple or easy task, so we are thrilled to partner with PPG and receive its generous support. PPG’s commitment to sustainability aligns with our mission to make climate knowledge accessible for all. This partnership helps us expand our initiatives, ensuring more people have the facts to contribute to a more sustainable future. Together, we are catalysing change driven by informed decisions,” has concluded Ondráš Přibyla, Founder and Director of Facts on Climate Change.
