The strategic realignment aims to drive operational efficiency and accelerate PPG’s growth in the paints and coatings industry.
PPG has announced executive appointments to lead its three global reportable business segments, part of an ongoing effort to drive growth, boost productivity, and streamline operations following a structural reorganization introduced last year.
Three senior executives will take charge of the company’s aligned business units:
- Industrial Coatings: Alisha Bellezza, currently senior vice president of global automotive coatings and packaging coatings, steps into the role of senior vice president, Industrial Coatings segment. In her expanded position, Bellezza will continue leading automotive coatings while overseeing industrial coatings, packaging coatings, and specialty products. Juliane Hefel, senior vice president of industrial coatings and specialty products, and Denise Lu, vice president of packaging coatings, will report to Bellezza.
- Performance Coatings: Chancey Hagerty, currently senior vice president of global automotive refinish coatings and aerospace, has been named senior vice president, Performance Coatings segment. Hagerty will continue to lead automotive refinish coatings while assuming oversight of aerospace, protective and marine coatings, and traffic solutions. Sam Millikin, senior vice president of global aerospace, and Amy Ericson, senior vice president of protective and marine coatings and traffic solutions, will report to Hagerty.
- Global Architectural Coatings: Henrik Bergström will serve as senior vice president, Global Architectural Coatings segment. Reporting to Bergström are regional leaders Javier Sosa (LATAM), John Smith (EMEA), and Claire-Louise Walker (ANZ).
