Exhibiting at Hall 8.2, boothF37, the company will highlight solutions tailored to meet the demanding performance, aesthetic and sustainability requirements of the plastics and surface treatment industries.
Sun Chemical is set to unveil its latest pigment and colourant innovations at ChinaPlas 2026, taking place from 21st to 24th April in Shanghai (China).
Among the key showcases will be Sun Chemical’s portfolio of colourants for near-infrared (NIR) light management, including its newest product, Spectrasense™ Black K 0089 FK. The technology supports applications such as solar heat management, laser welding and LiDAR, as well as high-performance coatings that require precise colour stability and durability.
The company will also present fibre-grade pigments for polypropylene (PP), polyester (PES) and polyamide (PA), including ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® certified products. FASTOGEN® Pink K 4430 FP, designed for dispersion-critical applications, will be highlighted for its performance in demanding fibre and coating processes where filtration and uniform distribution are critical.
For engineering and high-performance plastics, Sun Chemical will showcase colourants capable of withstanding challenging processing and end-use conditions, including solutions for orange high-voltage components in electric vehicles and other safety-critical applications.
In addition, the Heliogen® pigment range
will be featured, offering exceptional purity and performance for sensitive applications such as high-quality surface coatings, including low- and non-warping options for HDPE injection moulding and coated surfaces.
Alongside materials, Sun Chemical will present its digital tools, including Pigment Finder, providing product data, carbon footprint statements and regulatory documents, and the Pigment Viewer app, which supports digital colour visualisation and specification for coatings and surface finishing.
