X-Rite Pantone Showcases Advanced Colour Management Solutions for Smart Manufacturing at the American Coatings Show

Date: 27/03/2026

Through live demonstrations, product displays, and educational presentations, X-Rite Pantone will demonstrate how manufacturers can replace guesswork with standardised, data-driven colour processes. These approaches improve accuracy, streamline approvals, and reduce waste, providing a more reliable foundation for efficient manufacturing and future automation initiatives.

X-Rite Pantone, the global authority in colour standards and science, is set to unveil its latest innovations in colour management at the American Coatings Show, from 5th to 7th May 2026 in Indianapolis (USA).

“As manufacturers adopt advanced technologies, they first need reliable data, which begins with improving how processes such as colour are defined and measured. By standardising colour management and connecting colour data across the supply chain, manufacturers gain the visibility required to maintain consistency and support smarter automation,” has stated Ben Spiegel, Director of CP&M Products at X-Rite Pantone.

At the American Coatings Show (Booth #711), the company will demonstrate how its connected ecosystem of colour measurement, formulation, visual evaluation, and quality control solutions helps manufacturers ensure accurate colour from design through to production, replacing visual judgement with data-driven processes.
Key solutions include:

  • Colour Specification and Formulation: Integrated tools including Ci7000 Series Spectrophotometers for precise measurement across various materials, the Color iMatch formulation engine for faster, more accurate initial matches, and NetProfiler software to maintain consistency across instruments and the global supply chain.
  • Inline Production Monitoring: The ERX145 Spectrophotometer with ESWin Software provides real-time monitoring of colour and gloss on production lines, helping manufacturers catch issues early and improve efficiency.
  • Quality Control for Small or Complex Samples: The CiF3200 Imaging Spectrophotometer, combined with Color iQC Quality Control Software, allows precise measurement of small, irregular, or multi-coloured parts, while NetProfiler ensures consistency across instruments and suppliers.
  • Visual Assessment Solutions: Objective measurement combined with controlled visual evaluation using tools such as the eco-friendly Judge LED Light Booth ensures reliable, true-to-standard colour assessments throughout production.

“Colour consistency depends on every partner in the supply chain working from the same information. Our digital colour workflows make it possible to communicate colour expectations clearly, reduce rework, and keep production running efficiently,” has added Ben Spiegel.
