The new Interpon D2525 Structura powder coating from AkzoNobel offers a fine textured finish in a wide range of colours, combining superior durability, gloss retention, scratch resistance, and sustainability benefits with up to a 20-year warranty and compliance with AAMA 2604 standards.

The international paints and coatings supplier AkzoNobel has unveiled its popular Structura range of Interpon D powder coatings in South Asia, designed to support the needs of the region’s leading architects, designers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The Interpon D2525 Structura range combines in-demand colours and refined textures with superdurable performance, delivering both style and resilience for architectural projects. Available in 19 of the most popular RAL shades and 18 on-trend colours, the collection ensures a sophisticated finish across a wide variety of applications.

With a fine textured surface, the coating provides aluminium and steel with a greater sense of quality and depth, while offering enhanced gloss retention and strong resistance to colour change. It has been developed to withstand diverse climates, matching high-level aesthetics with outstanding durability and weatherability.

The range carries up to a 20-year integrity warranty when applied by an Interpon D approved applicator and meets the performance requirements of AAMA 2604. Its textured finish makes it more resistant to scratches and marring, reducing the need for touch-ups or re-spraying, and helps conceal minor surface defects. The superdurability of Interpon D2525 Structura also supports sustainability goals, extending the interval between cleaning cycles and thereby lowering water and chemical use.

“The Interpon D2525 Structura Collection stands out as the premier choice for architects, OEMs, and designers seeking on-trend, high-quality products, and protection they can rely on: The diversity of this range and the careful attention given to the design and science behind it is yet another example of our commitment to delivering resilient coatings in demanding environments that endure over time without compromising on style,” has stated Şirvan Canitez, Regional Commercial Director for AkzoNobel Powder Coatings in South Asia.

The collection is also backed by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), providing independent third-party verification of the raw materials, manufacturing processes and transportation involved, ensuring transparent sustainability credentials.
