The introduction of this PFAS-free solution reinforces Anochrome’s commitment to providing environmentally conscious coating technologies for sectors including wind energy, oil and gas, marine, and infrastructure.

Anochrome Group, in partnership with NOF Metal Coatings Europe, has launched a pioneering PFAS-free coating designed to meet the rigorous demands of the wind energy industry while advancing environmental sustainability.

The newly introduced Geomet® 321 + PLUS® VLh 2 Silver is a cutting-edge coating system that delivers robust protection against corrosion, salt spray, and extreme weather conditions—all without the use of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), which are increasingly being scrutinised under tightening environmental regulations.

Operating in some of the most challenging environments, wind energy infrastructure requires coatings that offer both durability and high-performance protection. The Geomet® 321 + PLUS® VLh 2 Silver coating meets these technical requirements while supporting the industry's shift towards more sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

“Industries reliant on high-performance coatings face the challenge of balancing durability, corrosion protection and environmental responsibility. With Geomet® 321 + PLUS® VLh 2 Silver, businesses can move forward and align themselves with evolving regulatory standards. The introduction of this high-performance coating aligns seamlessly with Anochrome Group’s core mission: to lead the surface coatings industry in environmental innovation, sustainability and advanced research and development (R&D). By eliminating PFAS from our coating systems, we can reduce environmental impact while maintaining superior corrosion resistance and performance – critical in demanding industries such as wind energy, oil and gas, marine and infrastructure,” has stated Steve Norman, UK Divisional Director at Anochrome Group.
