Arkema’s participation at Battery Show Europe 2025 highlights its commitment to driving innovation and sustainability within the battery industry’s evolving landscape.
Arkema is set to present its latest innovations for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage system (ESS) batteries at Battery Show Europe 2025, taking place in Stuttgart (Germany), from 3rd
to 5th June. With decades of experience supporting the battery industry through all stages of its development, Arkema offers cutting-edge solutions both inside and outside the cell.
Visitors can explore Arkema’s extensive range of high-performance and sustainable materials designed for current and future generations of battery cells and packs at Hall 8, Booth F10. In addition to its well-established portfolio for today’s battery cells, modules and packs, Arkema will showcase new breakthroughs aimed at safer, higher-performing and more sustainable batteries.
Arkema is introducing a new range of materials tailored to support the development of gel electrolyte batteries. These semi-solid batteries combine the scalability advantages of liquid electrolytes with the enhanced safety and performance of solid-state technologies.
The company will highlight its Kynar® PVDF electrode binder, which enables manufacturers to adopt more efficient and eco-friendly dry electrode coating processes. Arkema is also investing in a lab-scale dry coating facility in France, backed by dedicated R&D teams to advance new materials and next-generation manufacturing methods.
Bostik, an Arkema brand, will introduce Prep DB, a novel primer designed to address challenges in vehicle repair and end-of-life recycling. Developed through an Open Innovation approach, this thermally activated technology allows bonds to break cleanly, enabling components to be dismantled without damage to adjacent materials.
