Date: 28/01/2026

These results highlight Arkema’s continued contribution to the fight against climate change and the preservation of water resources.

Arkema has once again secured leading scores from CDP, maintaining its “A” rating in the Climate Change category and remaining on the organisation’s prestigious A List. This places the Group among the top 4% of companies assessed worldwide. The Group also retained its “A-” rating in the Water Security category, further underlining its strong commitment to environmental transparency and performance.

Arkema is continuing to deploy its climate plan, aligned with the 1.5°C trajectory validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The Group aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from Scopes 1 and 2 by 48.5% by 2030 compared with 2019 levels. For Scope 3 emissions, having already exceeded its previous target in 2024, Arkema has set a more ambitious objective of a 67% reduction by 2030 compared with 2019. In parallel, the Group has set a target to reduce its water withdrawals by 27% by 2030 versus 2019, reflecting its focus on sustainable water resource management.

“This renewed performance is the result of the daily commitment of our teams, who work collectively to integrate sustainability at the heart of our activities. Maintaining these CDP ratings demonstrates the robustness of our environmental strategy, the effectiveness of the actions implemented across the whole Group, and our ability to achieve performance levels among the highest in the industry,” has stated Emmanuelle Bromet, Arkema’s Sustainable Development Vice-President.

CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) is a global non-profit organisation that supports companies, financial markets and public authorities in measuring and managing their environmental impacts related to climate change, water security and deforestation. Its disclosure system is widely recognised as a global benchmark for environmental transparency and action.
