The fair has been received with great enthusiasm and already has the participation of the main suppliers of the coating industry in Spain and Portugal.
For a long time the coating industry has not had a dynamic and open meeting point between manufacturers and suppliers, in which to share new ideas, find answers to technical challenges and obtain useful information for their work environment: Paint & Coatings Barcelona was created to cover this space.
The fair will have a conference program carried out by the Grupo de Profesionales of AIQA and AECQ. Both programs are already in advanced definition phase and will be published entirely in September. Here below, a small preview of the GPP – AIQS program:
QUO VADIS TiO2?
A deep technical and integral approach to the strategies and resources available for the reduction of TiO2 content in architectural and industrial paints. Updated revision of its classification and available information. The AIQS's GPP will address this problem with a deeply technical and comprehensive approach, exposing clearly, scientifically and concisely the toxicological situation and its consequences within the coating industry. The best available techniques will be reviewed to address this problem responsibly and effectively, according to the final classification adopted, not only from the point of view of the formulators, but also from the TiO2 manufacturers, the intermediate users (paint manipulators and manufacturers) and the end users.
This day will feature expert speakers about the topic, who will briefly discuss their area of expertise, and finally there will be a debate open to the public to answer the questions that will arise.
The conference program will be completed by TechFocus presentations, carried out by the exhibitors. There will be 23 presentations of 20 minutes each.
