Rostirolla has developed a high-rigidity silicone interlocking component that enables faster and more flexible coating operations.
Rostirolla, a company specializing in the production of accessories for industrial coating operations, has presented an innovative silicone component that allows to assemble a hanging frame in a few seconds, enabling faster and more flexible coating operations.
The silicone interlocking component is designed to be used in combination with the BL bar of the GNW hanging system, characterized by a diamond-shaped slot that makes the insertion of metal hooks practical and fast. If until now the BL bar could not be used individually and needed to be welded or adapted in order to be mounted on the frame; thanks to the new component, now it can be used in combination with the frames already existing on the market. In addition, the coupling between the bar and the silicone component can be performed manually, without the need for welding.
The development of the new silicone interlocking component, in addition to completing the GNW system, contributes to achieving the company's goal of producing key components compatible with each other which, once assembled, allow a great variety of combinations of use and a faster hanging process.
“Until now, we have always designed and manufactured fixed or modular metal frames. However, metal requires more or less long production times and, once it leaves the factory, it is no longer possible to change its shape. All this prompted us to look for an alternative solution to traditional metal frames and we have thus come to develop a high-rigidity silicone interlocking system that allows to assemble a modular frame in just a few steps”, explains Simone Rostirolla, who is at the helm of the company together with his brother Pierluigi.
“The advantage is obvious: the components don’t have to be welded; therefore, coating operators can assemble the hanging frame according to their needs, simply by keeping the BL bars and silicone components they need in stock”, continues Simone Rostirolla. "The benefits of this system can also be seen at production level, as we are able to fulfil orders within the day, ensuring an even more timely delivery and optimizing the design and sampling phases".
